Adversity Quotient dan Gaya Kepemimpinan Perempuan: Studi Deskriptif Pada Pemimpin Perempuan di Organisasi Kemahasiswaan Universitas X

This study aims to determine the description of adversity quotient and women's leadership style (descriptive study of female leaders in student organizations at University X). Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects of this study were three female students who were and had served as chairman, deputy chairman of BEM, and chair of UKM at X University and had more than six months in office. Data analysis shows that one subject (R) has a high adversity quotient because it fulfills all four aspects, namely: self-control, suggestions and, recognition, reach, and endurance. Meanwhile, subject S and subject K showed a lower level of adversity quotient compared to subject R. Subject S did not meet the endurance aspect, because it has a dependency on someone. Whereas subject K does not fulfill the aspect of self-control, because negative emotions are easily present when approached with difficulties. All three subjects have different leadership styles, subject S has a feminine-transformational leadership style of women, and subject R has a transformational-transactional female leadership style, while subject K has a masculine-transactional leadership style.
