Abstract

NIB and Halal certificates are two legal documents that must be owned by businesses that produce food and drinks. NIB as a condition is allowed to operate, while safety and halal standards in the form of legality are placed on the packaging and material composition of products, especially Muslims will avoid products that do not comply with Islamic law. Food and beverage products circulating in the community, for business actors in selling products, provide a sense of security, comfort, and tranquility. Products that are guaranteed to be halal are the government's main concern. Mbawi Foods is a processed food product from milkfish from the PKK group and Karang Taruna Mbawi Village provides shredded, presto, and nugget products. This service is part of the output of the 2023 Kosabangsa grant carried out in Mbawi Village which aims to provide information regarding the importance of NIB and halal certificates for products, namely Mbawi Foods. Mbawi Foods is processed using technology from chopping machines, frying machines, draining machines and nugget machines for production to marketing.
