Community service (PKM) is one of the tri-dharma activities of higher education that should be an obligation for lecturers to empower the application of science and technology to the general public, especially groups still struggling with traditional technology towards the era of modern technology. Mura Village, Brang Ene District, which is located in West Sumbawa Regency, became the object of the Faculty of Systems Engineering (FRS) lecturer team in the implementation of PKM, which focused on the Socialization of the Implementation of Micro-Grid Scale Biomass Gasification Machines for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially in rural areas. Biomass gasification is a thermochemical process that uses heat to convert solid biomass or other carbon solids into synthetic gas called syngas. Through gasification, we can convert almost all solid organic materials into a clean fuel gas that can be used for electricity generation, namely as a secondary fuel for generator sets (gen-sets). The syngas content produced from the gasification process is dominated by CO, H2, and CH4 gases.
