PERBANDINGAN KEMAMPUAN KEWIRAUSAHAAN PENGUSAHA PEREMPUAN DAN LAKI-LAKI PADA UMKM DI KABUPATEN SUMBAWA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the entrepreneurial abilities of female and male entrepreneurs and to analyze the comparison of the entrepreneurial abilities of female and male entrepreneurs in Sumbawa Regency. This study used a quantitative method with a total of 84 respondents, 42 men and 42 women who were obtained using the slovin formula using cluster random sampling technique. Data obtained by using the independent t test. The results of the analysis in this study show that (1) the entrepreneurial ability of male entrepreneurs in MSMEs in Sumbawa City is better in several aspects including the ability to read business opportunities with an average percentage difference of 8%, financial planning aspects with an average percentage difference - an average answer of 6% and marketing aspects with a difference in the percentage of an average answer of 1%. (2) the entrepreneurial ability of women entrepreneurs in MSMEs in Sumbawa City is better in the aspect of preparing a business plant with an average difference in the percentage of answers of 3% (0.3). (3) The results of the independent samples t test show that the value is 0.182 > 0.05, so that H0 is accepted by Ha rejected, which means that there is no difference in the entrepreneurial abilities of men and women in MSMEs in Sumbawa Regency.
