Effective and environmentally friendly waste management is a major challenge in reducing the impact of air pollution. Incinerators are one method that is widely used to process waste, but the exhaust emissions produced can pollute the environment if not handled properly. This research aims to modify the smoke filtration system in the waste incinerator to make it more environmentally friendly by optimizing harmful gases. The modifications include installing an air flow filter to absorb toxic gases such as carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO?), PM2.5, and PM10. In addition, a miss sprayer system was added to capture the remaining fine particles. Tests were conducted by comparing air quality before and after modification using an exhaust emission meter. The research results showed that the modified filtering system was able to reduce CO? emissions by up to 33.33%, and PM2.5 down to 50 ?g/m³ below air quality standard limits. This modification is also able to speed up the process of burning wet and dry waste by 30 minutes. With this innovation, the waste incinerator can operate more environmentally friendly and the combustion efficiency is more efficient.
