Abstract

This study aims to compare the income of corn farmers before the Covid-19 pandemic and the Covid-19 pandemic in Sumbawa sub-district. The research is quantitative in nature, with primary data obtained from the questionnaire data of 65 respondents. The data obtained were processed using the Paired Sample T-test analysis technique, with SPSS version 16.0 software. The results of the analysis obtained from this study show that there is a comparison of the income of corn farmers before the Covid-19 pandemic and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The comparison that occurs can be seen in the average value generated from the Statistical Paired Sample test with a value of 61,584,615, 38/year to 64,676,923.08/year. In addition, the comparison of the average value in the paired sample statistical test is supported by the results of the paired sample correlation test which shows the results of a strong and real correlation value. In addition, the results of the paired sample test also show a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a comparison of the income of corn farmers before the Covid-19 pandemic and during the Covid-19 pandemic in Sumbawa District. This increase in income was also accompanied by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Where the impact of Covid-19 not only has an impact on limited space for obtaining production materials but also has an impact on increasing the selling price of corn.
