Abstract

Analysis of linear loading efficiency of three-phase AC generator performance is important in understanding and optimizing the performance of such generators. Linear loading can help improve efficiency, reduce power losses and ensure maximum utilization of electrical power. The efficiency of generator performance against linear loading on a three-phase AC generator was obtained by obtaining induced voltage (Ea) in the generator of 428, 68V; short circuit current in the generator of 244, 571A; zero loading in the generator of 434, 74V, with If 0.7A; the lowest linear loading efficiency is in the 5200-ohm resistor loading circuit with an efficiency of 21, 69007%; and the highest efficiency of linear loading is at the 300-ohm load with an efficiency of 79, 59181%. The efficiency shows that the generator is able to produce energy in accordance with the efficiency of the total energy consumed. where when the efficiency in linear loading reaches 79, 59181%, about 20, 40819% of the energy consumed by the generator does not turn into electrical energy but is lost in the form of heat or something else. Which is where the efficiency of 79,59181% is calculated in a good state.
